Christmas Traditions…..

Firstly so so sorry for missing yesterday. I haven’t been feeling great of late and if I’m brutally honest it’s kind of worried me. I had quite a productive reading day yesterday morning and later in the day I met my bestie for a gig – which sure was fun. I was meant to post but it slipped my mind and by the time I realised it was too late. Anyway thank you to everyone who voted on my poll on Twitter – so I decided to try and combine both something about me and Christmas and here it is.

This book has been in my family for as long as I can remember and the spine shows the love it has seen. We used to read this every Christmas Eve and now my sister reads it to my niece. So the tradition continues…..

What traditions do you have or have you had for Christmas?

  1. A few…Reading Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol, watching a film version or listening to an audio book version. The much loved book in our household is a picture book, An Edwardian Christmas by John S Goodall with a new page displayed every day. Finally watching David Suchet in Hercule Poirot’s Christmas (my husband’s choice) and White Christmas (my choice). We might also watch one of the BBC adaptations of ghost stories by M R James on Christmas Eve. Gosh, didn’t realise we had so many!

  2. It’s kind of a silly tradition but me and my mate always get together to watch Die Hard around Christmas! We also always go out for a meal on Christmas Eve which is lovely. Nice post 😀
