Goodreads Monday….

Happy Monday all I know it’s a scorcher today….those of you lucky enough to enjoy it I’m super super jealous. My ankle is in agony although have new precautions and have been trying to shift my weight off of it anyway enough about that.

I kept seeing Goodreads Monday popping up on here and today it stuck with me. So here I am Goodreads Monday is a weekly meme hosted by Lauren’s Page Turners where you choose a random book from your TBR and show it off.  Be sure to check out Lauren’s blog and link back to add your own links!

I have loads of books on my TBR pile so I’m going to have a twist to my Goodreads Monday and speak about a few.

The first book I am going to talk about is The Memory Book by Rowan Coleman. This has been on my TBR pile for too long. It may well become an audible read but it will definitely be pushed up the list.

Book Summary: When time is running out, every moment is precious…

When Claire starts to write her Memory Book, she already knows that this scrapbook of mementoes will soon be all her daughters and husband have of her. But how can she hold onto the past when her future is slipping through her fingers…?
A Sunday Times bestseller and Richard & Judy Autumn Book Club pick, The Memory Book is a critically acclaimed, beautiful novel of mothers and daughters, and what we will do for love.

The second book is Little Sister by Isabel Ashdown I was lucky enough to read the first few chapters thanks to Netgalley and I loved it and have been wanting more. Just haven’t had time to get round to it. I know I will fly through this.

Book Summary: You trusted your sister… you shouldn’t have.

After sixteen years apart sisters Jessica and Emily are reunited. With the past now behind them, the warmth they once shared quickly returns and before long Jess has moved into Emily’s comfortable island home. Life couldn’t be better. But when baby Daisy disappears while in Jess’s care, the perfect life Emily has so carefully built starts to fall apart.
Was Emily right to trust her sister after everything that happened before?

Have you read either of these books? If so do share your thoughts free of spoilers.
